
Smedley Speakers' Society is a Toastmasters' Club based in Bangalore, India. We
at Smedley's are committed to the vision of Toastmasters International's
founder, Dr. Ralph C. Smedley, to help individuals achieve excellence in public
speaking and leadership.
What is more, we try to achieve this vision in an atmosphere of enjoyment, selfdiscovery
and fun.
Smedley's aims to achieve this by:
- Providing a forum that fosters learning, growth and fulfillment in a friendly,
supportive manner
- Ensuring a link to all the resources and tools developed and deployed by
Toastmasters International, and being a true representative of the global
Toastmasters' movement

Toastmasters International is a worldwide non-profit organization devoted to
public speaking and leadership, established in October 22, 1924, in Santa Ana,
California. Its's business and services are administered by its World

Members learn by speaking to groups and working with others in a supportive environment. 3S, with over 30 members, meets every Sunday from 10.30 am to 12 noon. Each meeting gives everyone an opportunity to
practice:
- Conducting meetings
- Giving impromptu speeches
- Presenting prepared speeches
- Offering constructive evaluation
